1. We also used their house car for trips downtown - free within a 2 mile radius and the car was always available when we wanted it.

2. Breakfast is included -- They have a lovely comfy breakfast room (with upholstered chairs) and also a great outdoor patio with coal fire pit, which we sat by every morning (in light jackets) and ate our breakfast -- alone -- it was as if we owned a huge house in downtown San Fran.

4. Most of the concierges were really great, but we had a couple of negative experiences with what may have been the same concierge, a female, who gave me wrong directions as I was waiting downtown for a house car pickup, and also when we requested a tailor, basically told us it couldn't be done.

5. The house car will drop you off and pick you up within a 2km radius of the property (which covers most of downtown San Francisco).

6. The taxi's did not know exactly where it was (thinking we were referring to the downtown Fairmont)- Just mentioned Ghirardelli Square and they found their way.
