3. As an extra precaution we are bringing stuff in from the cold and putting it in the dryer at a high temperature - since the clothes are dry, the high heat doesn't seem to affect them but we're hoping that the freeze-roast approach kills any New York bugs.

4. Since getting home we left all the luggage on our back porch - fortunately it is very cold so we're hoping any hitchhiking bugs and eggs will freeze into oblivion.

5. We're not sure if there were bugs in the second room - I did have more bites the next day but we read that it could take a few days for the bites to emerge.

6. When I was checking out I found a live bedbug crawling across my pillow and a gigantic dead water bug in my closet.

7. They *saw* bugs on the floor and bed, and their hands and other extremities were chewed up from bedbugs.

8. We didn't think the hotel had a bug problem, it probably came in from the bedroom window that they leave open for ventilation.

10. Then, we were told that there are no bugs, they have never heard of bugs being in the hotel, and that it must have been an illusion.
