2. Quiet street, beautiful brownstone homes all around, Central Park is a stones throw away, there is a subway stop at the end of the block, plenty of good restaurants nearby, and a short walk from the American Museum of Natural History.

4. However theolder gentleman who worked mornings not very helpful The hotel was in a nice safe area with plenty of shops and restaurants - big nicks diner on same street was amazing value, Italian opposite Nicks not so good value.

The hotel is in a quiet street half a block from Central Park, an easy walk across the park to the Met, half a block from the ACE (blue) metro line 72nd station and a block and a half from the 123 (red) metro line 72nd station (which has a lift) - very convenient for public transport to the city sights.
