1. There is an ATM in the lobby, along with a computer ($0.20/minute) and a printer, and they faxed my business faxes free of charge.

2. you also get an Iron, ironing board, WIFI, TV and a Safe to keep your valuables in (a charge $1.50/day for using it, although we didnt get charged), which makes you feel a bit more secure about leaving your passports and valuables behind.

3. However, great price, has private bathrooms (many cheap hotels in New York do not, or charge more for optional private bathrooms), free continental breakfast and great location on upper west side right next to Central Park and subway station and main drag with lots of taxis.

4. The other negative is the room safe - there is a charge if you use it(lord knows why, does it cost them anything to provide it?), I didn't know this until checking out .

9. Sure, the place is small, the free wi-fi is so spotty it is probably being routed from a 56k modem, and the aggressive but good-natured young lady working the front desk tried to double charge me for the room, but it's New York City and you can't beat the price for this prime location.
