1. The location is perfect if you want to be near great shopping; there are plenty of designer/high-end options and you can send the tweens two doors down to Forever21.

5. the renovations do start promptly at nine but to be honest that hasn't taken away from being in such a great location and hotel.

6. The location is great -- right on Waikiki Beach, across street from International Market, walking distance to beach walk shopping, restaurants, etc. We had a 'partial ocean view' room, and had a nice view of Waikiki Beach from the balcony.
