1. Chuck's Steakhouse is also pretty good and costs the same any other restaurant on Waikiki.

5. I always reserve an oceanfront room, and the package I choose (free breakfasts for two, every third night free) costs about one third what the other 'oceanfront' hotels there in Waikiki charge just for a room.

6. The Sheraton, about 100 yards down the street, cost about the same and had six working elevators and welcoming hosts and hostesses.

7. One last note, if you are travelling to Waikiki it is best to rent a car, transportation around this island costs a fortune.

9. One suggestion if you have a rental car - there is a parking garage about a block away (right behind the Int'l Marketplace) that only costs $7 overnight, much better option than the $25 valet parking at the hotel.
