1. There was construction going on but it was in a separate wing which did not interfere with the occupied side.

4. They are doing some rolling renovations to some rooms and floors, but it certainly doesn't look like the place in under construction.

5. As a side note, they will tell you when you check in they are undergoing renovations and you may hear some construction noise.

6. The drilling and general construction work started at 6:00 AM and when I called the desk told me they had had many complaints and the workmen would stop but every 20 minutes it started again so finally I just got up and said the heck with it.

8. The only criticisms that we found was a smallish bathroom that was not quite up to par, our hotel room was not particularly decorative as we expected for a 5-star hotel, and the view of construction site out of our hotel window was entirely forgettable.
