1. everything that's offered at reasonable hotel chains that actually care for their customers and don't take them for granted.

8. She kindly upgraded us for reasonable fee (originally booked rooms on priceline) to beach front villa with fire pit.

9. Their kids camp is only offered in the summer months (another reason they are not a resort in my opinion) so that was not available, making the poolside encounters that much more important.
