1. The best thing about the hotel is the staff - exceptionally friendly and happy to please - Larry in the restaurant and Ramon on the front desk were great, but all the staff create a happy, easy going and helpful environment.

5. The good news was the upgrade price; for $50 dollars more we were moved to a room right on the water, this made my wife very happy.

6. We would catch happy-hour and take our drinks down to the pool and sit with our feet in while looking out at the beach and the gas-fire pit beside us, surrounded by well kept gardens and palms.

10. We were initially given a room that faced the nearby loud freeway, so we asked to change rooms, I wasn't happy with a parking lot view, but at least it didn't have the view and noise of the freeway.
