1. It is within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops, the property is beautiful and well maintained with vibrant floral landscaping, tile stairways and wonderful seating areas.

4. The building had a wonderful view facing the ocean side but unfortunately we had a room facing away from the ocean towards the heritage park.

5. For my wife and me this was the most recent in a 20-year series of week-long trips from the east coast to the San Diego area to visit family and friends that we left behind in 1992; but it was the first time we have stayed at this wonderful hotel in Old Town San Diego.

6. There are a lot of stairs on this hillside property (leading to wonderful views), so if you have difficulty with stairs or walking, be sure to mention that when you reserve your room.
