I stayed with my 40 colleagues with Holiday Inn Express San Diego Downtown for about 10 nights and we were extremely satisfied and would like to recommend this hotel to all type of travelers due to the following positive reasons :* Nice location , taxis available easily*comfy beds in nice big rooms*fast free internet*Nice warm Breakfast every day*free safety deposit boxes at front desk*affordable laundry*polite and friendly staff which went out of the way to help the guests*free beer and drinks every evening*nice restaurant *a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby*house keeping is efficent.

The POSITIVES were much cheaper price than other hotels closer to the convention center or gaslamp (we paid about $116), free shuttle from airport, free breakfast, comfortable beds, nice balcony, clean rooms / lobby, happy hour Mon - Thurs 5-6:30 with complimentary soda, beer or wine and computers in the lobby that we used to check-in to our flight.
