1. you'll need to walk at least 10 minutes for something decent although i did not try sole luna across the street- at night, could be scary.

2. + opposite the el cortez hotel which being a very tall building, is a great landmark to refer to when returning home+ decent free breakfast+ quiet and got a good night sleep- it's much older than other holiday inns i have been to.
