On the downside, far and away the worst thing we encountered was the noise as well - not sure if it's the walls or just the connecting doors between rooms that are so thin, but you can hear a ton from your neighbors, and it didn't help that we also had a bunch of noisy neighbors (that part's not the hotel's fault, of course).
