1. The whole experience was reminiscent of European travels in the 70's, except that a shared-bath room was cheap then, not cool.

4. I was quite shocked to see incandescent bulbs everywhere except the stairwells (going for a retro look) and no recycling containers; the hotel needs to be much, much greener.

5. It would have been pretty comfortable if I were staying there alone with the exception of the 4am recycling of millions of bottles and the room service asking me to come down and get my order from the bar (I know, I know, room service is for Hyatt losers not Portland hipsters).
