In summary:- great cafe - stumptown- shares the comfortable lobby- helpful staff with good recommendations- interesting rooms with a creative use of space- almost everything we wanted to see or do in town was within easy walking distance- street parking either directly outside or in the immediate vicinity was easy- there is room service and although I didn't try it i did eat at the restaurant and it was delicious.

2. I stayed there four nights with my girlfriend and we treated ourselves to a posh meal in the adjoining restaurant, Clyde Common, which was very delicious and candlelit and lovely.

3. The good news is that when you have to leave the room while your sister is showering, there is coffee easily accessible downstairs with delicious pastries.

4. the Stumptown coffee bar was great the next morning, I got a Latte, a Bagel which came with cream cheese, and was toasted for me, and some Zucchini bread for the road which was delicious.
