1. The doors, however, do allow a good amount of the hallway noise from rowdy guests to penetrate inside the room.

2. I would also point out that if you want a quiet room while still staying in the French Quarter, Maison DuPuy is a good choice, particularly if you ask for an inside-facing room (the inner courtyard is also pretty to look at, particularly at night.

5. We had a standard King Room which had plenty of space, well appointed for the business traveler with good WIFI coverage for the couple of business telecons I had to make.
