1. If you demand silence all the time you might not like it, but we thought it was fun and it was easy to close the drapes when we needed to.

3. This is at the back side of Toulouse Street, which when looking on the map, it looks so far out of the way from where all the fun is in the French Quarter, but it did not take us more than a 10 min walk to ANYTHING we wanted to see or do.
"Great Place to stay, just enough away from the crowds, but close enough to the fun " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/20/2012 Vote
4. The hotel also offered a nice wedding package, after the ceremony we had the reception at the courtyard as well with an open bar and exquisit food (love the Louisiana style gumbo), the hotel also provided a wedding parade in the package where all the guests formed a crowd and we marched down the French Quarters for about 16 blocks, the city provided police escort and blocked off Bourbon street for us to cross at 2 different spots, there were literally hundreds of people watching from the side and taking pictures of us as we walked by and it was extremely FUN.

8. At 8am sharp workers started hammering and it was the unasked for wake-up call we did not need after a fun night in New Orleans.

9. The courtyard was lovely and we wanted to have a glass of wine in the courtyard after spending a fun day in the French Quarter, but 2 out of the 3 nights we were there we were unable to enjoy it because weddings were scheduled from 4:30 until 10:00 thus making the pool area unavailable as well.
