1. Maybe this property is just a little too close to Bourbon Street for a truly exceptional experience? Whatever the reason, it is just no up to the standards one would expect from a top tier hotel.
"No "ritz" at this Ritz Carlton " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/13/2012 Vote
2. The service we received during the stay was exceptional--front desk, operation manager, housekeeping, event coordinator, banquet staff, valet, bell captain, business center and spa.
"First stay here since Katrina, not our last! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/25/2012 Vote
3. With few exceptions, you can count on a Ritz Carlton to be elegant, clean and luxurious, with an attentive staff providing top-notch service.
"Excellent Choice for Luxury New Orleans " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/18/2012 Vote
4. The concierge was exceptional, from putting our boudin in the freezer for us to recommending Acme Oyster Bar (which was awesome by the way).
"First Class all the way! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/6/2012 Vote
5. The staff was fine, but nothing super exceptional.
"Fantastic. Luxurious and lives up to its reputation " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/1/2012 Vote
6. The food in this hotel is some of the best I have had in New Orleans--better than that of many famous New Orlean's restaurants (except probably Commander's Palace, but certainly many of the Brennan's restaurants).
"Fantastic. Luxurious and lives up to its reputation " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/1/2012 Vote
7. The ambiance was generically elitist, and the rooms provided nothing extraordinary (with the exception of two bedtime chocolates).
"Lacking in character " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/21/2012 Vote
8. The one exception to be noted is the on-site engineer, Will, who went out of his way to try to help and alleviate some of the frustration we encountered.
"Holiday at the Ritz...a bit shaky. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/5/2012 Vote
9. Can't think of anything I'd change except lobby is a bit too cold for my thinned out transplanted Floridian blood.
"Like a Home Away From Home " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/5/2012 Vote
10. We are not disabled, but it was very difficult navigating the stairs with a stroller and the Ritz employees rarely offered to help with the exception of one male employee who always offered to help.
"Repeated Service Failures Ruin a Fabulous Property " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/1/2012 Vote
