1. I didn't really care but I guess it could be dangerous? The bathroom was large and there was a coffee maker in the room - always a plus.

4. what happened to the hotel? Although there is now a nice cafe and restaurant/bar area staffed by friendly folks and pretty good food and coffee, the front desk staff are either overworked and underpaid or just don't care.

7. The guy at the desk (if you have read Anne Rice and know the LeStat character, you will know who I am talking about) was nice enough, but so busy 'knowing it all' that I could not really even ask a question, he kept assuring me that it was all taken care of.
