Pros: charming building, great location, COLD AC in the room, nice hot showers, in-room safe, in-room coffee maker, TV is adequate (who goes to New Orleans to watch TV in a hotel??), beds very comfortable, decor was nice enough, staff brought plenty of fresh towels and left them outside the door (we kept do not disturb sign up the entire time we were there), staff was friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for food, calling a cab, etc.

The breakfast was pretty much standard supermarket danish with juice and coffee, and the cleaning staff not perfect (they forgot to empty the coffee pot, and forgot to leave shampoo) but the complaints were minor, the rooms pleasant, the courtyard cute, the swimming pool adequate, the location perfect.
