3. My main issue is that the Peabody caters to weddings and corporate events which makes the hotel less attractive and less historic seeming - wedding schedules posted everywhere & big corporate civic center like add-ons & extreme crowds - which makes it much less pleasant for guests who are simply on vacation, passing through or staying in hopes of enjoying a classic hotel.
"An amazing historic hotel, but very caters to weddings & corporates & is super crowded " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/21/2012 Vote
4. From the Grand Consierge who opens your car door and greets you at the entrance in his smart flashy bright red uniform any third world dictator general would love to be seen in - to your entry into this Classic Old World charmed lobby you are somewhat awed with a very pleasant sticky first time impression of good ole time luxury.

7. We had a few hours to wait for our plane departure, it was too hot outside to explore (we had done Beale St and the Flying Saucer pub the night before) so the atrium with the duck fountain was a very pleasant place to chill out in.
