8. Could be a cool hotel, price is reasonable except for $40 a night parking, food is not good, service was ok but I did not expect much, bed sheets are rough and pillows are uncomfortable.

9. Upon check in I asked for a renovated room and was promptly told by the desk clerk that no rooms were renovated because 'this is an historic building' (except for the flat screen TVs) and besides which he had selected a particularly nice room for me.

10. To save money on parking - $40 for valet - we parked in the Pershing Square underground lot for $14, and then entered through the traditional Lobby Court, which is much like Buckingham Palace's entrance must be, except not as small and shabby.
