1. I can't say the same thing for the desk staff in the hotel however, they were all efficient but, with the exception of one gentlemen, they were the most unfriendly people I have ever met.

Lets start with some of the positives:-downtown, so short commute if you work in the area-courteous staffIssues-LOCATION: not near any of the big tourists locations (except the disney hall which was definitely worth seeing)-expensive parking ($20-40), but there are some cheaper alternatives in the area-nothing is open at night in the neighbourhood-not exactly safe to walk around (huge homeless issue downtown)a side note: wifi is 10 dollars a day, but its free if you sign up as a free member.

9. We arrived at 1PM and were given a late checkout as well, the staff were helpful, fantastic in so many ways that I can't really describe except to say that we were completely jet-lagged (coming from Japan), we had a car service that screwed up an they helped us, and we were cranky and they were understanding.

10. After waiting for about three minutes, we walked out to talk to the concierge about other restaurants in the area, and got a reply of 'Hmmm, well, ya know, almost everything will be closed, except this 20th floor sushi restaurant on top of an office building about 20 blocks away.
