1. We were upgraded to a deluxe room, so it was pretty big.

It is clear this hotel has no loading dock or alley because while I was eating dinner at the award winning restaurant downstairs (Charlie Palmer's) I had big trucks pulling up within 10 ft of my table loading and unloading big crates of towels (I learned they outsource their linens) and other large pieces of equipment.

7. The bedroom, which is separated by a curtain has a big king size bed, 2 nightstands, a bench at the end of the bed, chair with ottoman, and large built-in furniture unit with drawers, the LCD TV and minibar.

8. This room has a great layout, a separate desk area in the hallway, a separate water closer, walk in shower with rain showerhead and a second adjustable showerhead, big sink area and a window.

The concierge was also able to get us dinner reservations at a very small but very popular sushi restaurant in the area, this was a big plus because I knew this restaurant wouldn't take reservations from me when I called them directly (parties of 6 or more only) and there was already a long wait when we arrived.
