1. The Saks across the street resulted in a surprising amount of street noise in the afternoon; it, like the rest of downtown, became eerily quiet after business hours.

2. All in all the Hotel is quiet, and the staff is nice and helpful; But this is another once very nice hotel that has succummed to the discounters and desperatley needs a major renovation - I don't know what the neighboring Millenium and Hilton are like inside.
