But the positives way outweigh the negatives - some examples: a really charming and attentive room service waiter who took time and effort with his food delivery, a beautifully made up child's crib (complete with a cute baby gift set), concierges and door staff who were so helpful with the stroller, and who tried to waive away tips when I was on my own with the toddler - I could go on.

3. I will not go into detail regarding the positives of the Eliot Hotel and I would just recommend everyone to stay here if they are looking for a hotel that doesnt feel like the typical impersonal chain hotel.

6. The hotel is positioned in a great area of Boston with only a short walk to Newbury Street and Boylston street and a 10 minute walk to the Prudential centre.

8. It was in a fantastic position at the top of Newbury Street where all the trendy shops and eateries were and had none of the hectic comings and going of a large hotel, infact it almost felt like a classy apartment block.
