1. I was not expecting some moldy corners in the bathroom and furniture that was very beat up looking like it came from a dorm room sale.

4. We were seated on flimsy plastic chairs at tables that groaned under the weight of an elbow I guess meant to be futuristic like the Jetsons, then waited five or six minutes on our squeaky, creaky chairs for a waitress before looking at each other and going, 'Let's get out of here.

5. Some great pubs around the corner staffed by 'been there, done that' matter-of-fact waitresses who will having you feeling like a regular inside of two minutes.
