1. Essentially, all the energy would be spent at Disneyland so what one needs would be a convenient hotel with clean big beds and reasonable shower amenities (if you didn't bring any).

We stayed 2 days in this hotel when we visit Disney, This hotel was like a maze, and unfortunately the room assigned for my family was located at very the end of somewhere in this hotel, we had lot of baggage and a strollers with us, but we can't have any one to assist us to bring staffs to my room?? The Room is big with standard comfort Starwood level, but the bathtub in the bathroom was so bad.
