8. My room is practically brand new - the whole hotel has been re-done - except the lobby which is not finished yet - no signs of construction however as the lobby has been re-configured during construction.

9. Still had a strange 'refurbed rather than new' feel to it, maybe that's because it's such an eyesore from the outside which is a trait it shares with most Downtown Hotels in San Francisco, unfortunately.

I don't have much time to write everything in much detail, so I would rather list in bullet points:- The rooms are newly renovated and very nice and contemporary- The lobby is small and the public space and restaurant on 36th floor are still old and dated- We used our Diamond upgrade for a suite, upon check in and arrival to our room, got an 'accessible roll in shower' room - not what we wanted.
