1. generally good condition, great service, but one major complaint regarding a basic service - after staying at hundreds of hotels around the world, I do not understand why the hotel front desk does not have domestic postage available for purchase.

3. However, after my meeting I moved a few blocks down the road to the Clift hotel, where for $250/nt I did get limited free internet, a much larger, brighter and quieter room, friendly concierge service, and a definite style (not mine particularly, but at least it was up to date and not generic).

5. This hotel is very cclose to the airport so the airplanes can be loud, the city is loud in general.

6. They are generous with lounge access, but far too many of their lounges are so small that the experience of using them feels crowded and messy.

8. In the hotel itself, both people working the concierge desk during our stay were wonderful and super helpful, the management went out of their way to give us a room with a nice view since our kids had never been to San Francisco, and service in general was top notch.
