1. The cable car runs right past the front door, it was a little noisy but we loved it, it was all a part of San Fran and we certainly slept well.

2. Also almost right outside the hotel is where you can get on the cable cars that take you down to the lovely Fishermans Wharf for loads more restaurants and shops.
