1. The front desk helped us in every way possible with maps, printing out our boarding passes, and general pleasant chit-chat.

8. Speaking with other people during our visit we found that this was a problem at many hotels in SF that week as air conditioning really isn't generally a necessity in SF, this isn't therefore a criticism of The Stratford, merely a point to note.
