1. As others have said, the location is amazing, with easy access to Powell Street Station and transport to the airport.

4. Bathroom contains a shower and toilet and sink is actually in the bedroom - strange layout- Having said all that the staff were super friendly, laid back, front desk is manned 24 hrs a day, and the location was amazing.

5. my partner and I stayed here on the leg of our US trip for one week- I have to say first up, the location is AMAZING- Right in the heart of the city, a cable car stop outside the front door, 2 blocks front the Westfield Centre (which is the biggest mall in San Fran) and a couple of blocks from the train station.

8. The Stratford has an amazing location: half a block from the Union Square, around the corner from Macy's, and next door to Lush which are great landmarks for my brother - a new traveler to San Francisco.

10. If you're after a simple, bargain find (and with all the amazing shopping in the immediate vicinity, why wouldn't you want to save on your accommodation?), with helpful staff in a great location then I can't recommend the Stratford enough.
