3. Yep, walls seem thin, VERY kid friendly, I am child free and it is amazing the decibels that a small girl child can generate around a pool and hammock.

4. All in all I'd recommend this for travelers who are looking for a decent hotel for a few days -- particularly if they are looking for something unique rather than 'cookie cutter' or generic.

The best things about the hotel are the general value (you'll save hundreds per night compared to the brand name hotels in nearby Fisherman's Wharf), free parking (a real bonus in this city where some hotels charge over $40 per night to park), free continental breakfast, and convenient location within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants, bars, and public transportation.

9. The hotel is a reasonable walk to the bay, where you can see the sun set on the Golden Gate Bridge, check out Alcatraz and generally soak up the SF vibe.
