The best things about the hotel are the general value (you'll save hundreds per night compared to the brand name hotels in nearby Fisherman's Wharf), free parking (a real bonus in this city where some hotels charge over $40 per night to park), free continental breakfast, and convenient location within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants, bars, and public transportation.

5. Muni the public transit was actually the best way to navigate the city, it was efficient and affordable, with only the occasional crazy.

7. The best part of this though is the location, down near Marina, close to Chrissy fields, the Forts, Pier 39, Golden Gate and facing the other way a 20 minute walk into the City for Union Square and shopping.

8. We made full use of the video and DVD library, fantastic idea, we loved watching old movies set in San Francisco; Dirty Harry is the best ;)We would go back to San Francisco and this hotel tomorrow, we had a fantastic holiday.

9. There are several restaurants locally, but I recommend that you order a pizza from Patxi's Chicago Pizza (Lombard and Fillmore), without doubt the best pizza we've ever had anywhere.
