1. Offers a comfortable and conservative feeling with an exceptional staff for every request (we checked in at midnight and they opened the gift store so we could get headache medicine).

It was everything I'd anticipated: great location (smack dab in between Union Square & Chinatown - a 5-minute walk to either; but beware, the Ritz is on a big hill, if you have issues with some climbing); well-appointed rooms (king bed, sumptuous duvet & linens, marble in the bathroom); exceptional service.

8. I don't know if there was anything truly exceptional about it (as far as luxury properties go), but it definitely met or exceeded our expectations and we had a lovely time there.
