1. Upon arrival the staff were excellent and they provided much better service than the Ritz Carlton locations in Singapore and Beijing (my most recent Ritz experiences).

8. Both the Ritz and the Fairmont are at the top of a big hill so there is no escaping this if you want to stay at the better hotels.
