1. We feel very safe in this area of town regardless of the hour; proximity to Mag Mile is a huge plus, and it's also close to a Red Line stop (not to mention places such as Weber Grill, Portillo's, Rain Forest, Fado, Hard Rock, RB Brewery, RH Piano Bar, Eggsperience.

2. The room is very high tech, huge TV, lots of outlets, night-reading lamps on the bed, brand new carpet, wonderful high-pressure shower head and even a safe.

4. Because the shower head was hung to be appropriate for someone in a wheelchair (it could be moved, but the rubber was worn, so it wouldn't stay in place), it was impossible to shower without creating a huge mess (everything soaked).
"Did not get 'guaranteed' room " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/5/2011 Vote
5. Not to mention, we had a huge storm our last night which ended up canceling continental breakfast for the entire hotel.

6. Obviously an old Chitown hotel converted into a chic modern space with excellent lighting, windows that open to the breeze, self-regulating AC and heat, a huge King bed with great bedding and pillows, two table lamps, a granite countertop and chair for work space, a built-in upholstered banquette against the wall near the bed, special focused reading lamps on each side of bed that were tiny LEDS on a gooseneck that I loved and a very nice bathroom.
"Everything you need in a small space with great service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/12/2010 Vote

9. The hotel is 2 blocks from Michigan Avenue and there are a few resturants nearby, we loved the Grand Lux Cafe, huge portions and great food.
