6. The hotel is connected via skyways and passages to Illinois center next door and then a small mall with multiple fast food outlets, LensCrafter, Dunkin Donuts and a CVS that you don't have to go outside for great esp in the winter/rain.

9. There are plenty of great restaurants on the doorstep and several fast food places underneath the hotel which are a lifesaver in bad weather.

10. fast forward to the present - my boyfriend and I are going back to Chicago this April for a wedding and we are definitely NOT even considering going back to the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
