1. The staff however was great and very accommodating and the hotel was luxurious and opulent.

2. Stepping into the hotel was a little was odd as it was a cold, stale looking interior until we took the escalator up to the lobby where a ceiling mural of luxurious art greeted us; eat your heart out Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

3. The last time I stayed in an Exec room (these take up an entire floor of the hotel) where the rooms were enormous and the bathrooms luxurious - all in all well worth the extra money.

This place oozes elegance and sophistication and if you allow yourself a moment to take it all in it feels as though you have literally stepped back into the 1920's- and much of the decor of the hotel and our room was styled as such, though nothing seemed at all worn or dated- it all seemed very luxurious and either preserved well or replaced in a way true to the era.
