Later we discovered that the wallpaper and carpet were worn/frayed and in need of repair, the bed was not up to Hilton standards and rather uncomfortable, the room safe didn't work (and we use them all the time and tried to follow the instructions), the room was quite noisy (though not as noisy as some in this hotel), and that the super cleanliness we were initially very pleased with was only for the first day (and yes, we do tip daily for good service).
