5. We got a real buzz walking in, past the outdoor heating units with their tall flames trapped in glass cylinders that emitted a welcoming radiant heat on the rather raw day that we arrived.

In terms of service, the front desk doesn't allow guests to borrow umbrellas (in a town where it rains for like 5 months nonstop), it took them 20 minutes to check us out and fix a charge on our invoice (and it wasn't fixed so now I have to call them when I get home), and no one was particularly welcoming our 3 day stay there.
