4. While smaller, the room had cool lighting features and low beds (really thick mattress, no box spring), while made the room look and feel larger.

5. As a result, there is no hot water in the morning (not enough capacity for the boiler), the heating/cooling unit is still from the older incarnation of the hotel (1980's and pretty noisy), elevators are slow etc.

6. So basically you are staying in an old room with an old bathroom that got a paint job and someone threw in a mix of cliche 'cool' pieces, that in the end feel sterile, tired and without soul.

8. The hotel also offers use of iPads and iPods and I took advantage of using a iPad for my stay, what a cool feature.
