3. One of the guys at the front, Dennis, was local and knew all the best places for best and cheap food, if you stay at OTA, find him and ask him where to go he will put you straight and you won't regret it.

6. OTA is very convenient to the subway, 2 blocks from Starbucks, and the 24-hour market across the street is the best -- superb selection of fresh meats and great cheeses, fresh produce, a hot deli, etc.

9. Regarding breakfast, 5 minutes walking from on The Ave there is probably the best place in town to enjoy a full american breakfast with original Bagels, hot milky chocolate, great coffees and lots of brioches: it is named 'Zabar's'.
