5. - small lobby so if many people are checking in/out at same time it is crowded- this did NOT bother any of us but it could bother others - the streets you take to walk to/from stuff aren't very nice - they aren't terrible, but they aren't overly pretty either- no coffee maker or microwave in room- pool itself was no big deal and the hours were limited POSITIVES - clean beds / clean rooms, bathrooms, and carpets- our room (Deluxe Queen) was quite large - large by most hotel standards and enormous by NYC standards- View from the rooftop pool, especially at night, was excellent- fridge in room- $10/day parking- Outgoing parking was smooth as silk (vs.

6. The positives far outweighed the negatives, but FYI in the interest of a balanced review, the NEGATIVES were:- incoming parking process was slightly confusing - older hotel so showing its age in some ways - depending on your perspective, the hotel was 'too far' from the busy excitement of Times Square - though I though the 12-15 min walk to Times Square was no problem at all, and I liked being slightly away from all the lights/craziness/action- not enough plugs in room (pet peeve of mine)- while internet rate was reasonable, had to buy separately for each device ($10/day tho I bought a package for $35 for 5 days)- this is an expensive inconvenience if you want internet on your computer as well as your smart phone, etc.
