It is situated in a more 'residential' area (Hell's Kitchen) of the city and is within walking distance of 3 subway lines, Central Park (Carousel, zoo, multiple playgrounds - including water play/sprinklers), Time Square and the Theatre District, the Museum of Natural History, great shopping on 5th Avenue, American Girl Place, numerous affordable restaurants, and grocery stores (should you wish to buy breakfast and lunch).
