1. Much better to ask the door man or the friendly faces at the reception.

2. Other tips - go to the Bagel House on Lexington, just outside the hotel to get hot pastrami sandwiches to take with you - a much better choice than the vans parked outside the attractions which are fairly priced, but the lines are long.

6. Despite some cautions from TA forum 'experts' that there were other, better choices in the area, the rate was in our price range and the location and features met our needs (king bed, fairly quiet street, close to dining options and transportation).

7. There are more and better restaurants all around the Affinia Dumont and they also have full kitchen's which further push them higher up the rating scale.

8. The cost was good for the area and the size of the room, and I would seriously consider returning here with a larger group, I just hope that they keep standards the same or better in the meantime.
