1. The area has some great restaurants and you feel like you are staying in NYC as a local.

2. I'd like a safe in the room (they're adding that) and a fitness room with at least a treadmill, but you get what you pay for, right? This place was dirt cheap compared to comporably NYC hotels and all the basics were done well.

3. Your staff were more like friends, always there to help, I couldnt sleep because of the time difference, they were always there to have a chat, If we were out for the day, they helped us with directions and if required tickets as well and on return always ask with interest how we got on.

9. so don't expect a lot of amenities, like breakfast-- but, there are several great delis and restaurants right outside the front door (check out the Europan Deli and the Longgrain Thai restaurant for good inexpensive meals-- for the traditionalist, there is a Starbucks and a McDonald's on the block, too).
