3. we also tried Artie's up the road and loved the huge pastrami on rye, pickles etc, even though their knish was burnt(better at the cart opposite the Museum of Natural history) Loved it so much we're staying here again in 2012.

7. There is a small convenience store, an ice cream place, a really good diner (great for breakfast and the lemon pie is insanely huge and good) and an also really good thai/japanese restaurant all located right beside the hotel.

9. The room was small but I was happy for that sacrifice as the furniture was in good shape and it had ample storage for our 3 huge bags as well as an iron and ironing board.
