4. Nothing really stands out if you are used to Marriott hotels other than it is predictably good and comes with typical rip-off charges for annex services like wifi or bottled water.

5. As a relatively value oriented traveller, I tend to stay at hotels outside of Midtown like Jersey City or Brooklyn, but I'm always left with the feeling that I'm not quite in the center of the action and the 'commute' to most attractions can be a little bit of a drag.

6. Great bar area like watching a huge TV into the world of New Yorkloads of shopping as normal (WIFE) so get a good pair of shoes.

9. Service is fantastic in the R-lounge (I had Kelly for my server one night and she was good I almost ordered a Rueben flatbread pizza because she recommended it and I don't even like Rueben's).

10. I was just in NYC for business a month earlier at a different hotel and had trouble with the basics like hot water and slow elevators.
